Uphold Login on the web — step-by-step
1. Navigate to uphold.com and click Log In. 2. Enter the email and password associated with your account. 3. Approve the login by either scanning the QR code with the Uphold mobile app or confirming the push notification on a mobile device where you are already signed in. After approval you will arrive at your Uphold dashboard.
Note: web sign-in requires an authenticated mobile device for approval; if you are not logged in on a mobile device you will be prompted to use the mobile app instead.
Uphold Login on mobile — direct sign-in instructions
Open the Uphold mobile app (iOS or Android), tap Log in, enter your email and password, and follow any additional prompts. If you have biometric authentication or a passcode set up, you can enable those for faster Uphold login on the device.
If you are already signed in on mobile you can use the app to approve web sign-in requests.
Two-Factor Authentication and Uphold Login
Uphold supports SMS codes and third-party authenticator apps for 2-factor authentication (2FA). Enabling 2FA adds a one-time code step to each Uphold login and is strongly recommended for account security.
- Enable 2FA from Settings → Security in the mobile app or web settings.

If you cannot complete an Uphold login because you lost access to 2FA, have an incorrect password, or cannot receive push approvals, follow these steps: use the app’s “Having problems with the code?” → “Recover by Email” flow if you know your password; otherwise submit a recovery request via Uphold support for identity verification and account recovery.
If you see service interruptions, check Uphold’s status or contact support; do not share your recovery phrase or authentication codes with anyone.
Security best practices for a reliable Uphold Login
Use a strong, unique password and enable 2FA. Register a phone and keep your mobile device secure (passcode, biometrics). Never share email links, codes, or recovery phrases; Uphold support will never ask for your full password or recovery phrase to assist with login.
